Opening TCC#1

Following 5 months of preparations and online artist tandem work, we are finally opening the TwinCityChallenge#1 KunstKulturFest Haifa-Bremen event. We are excited to welcome you to the Haifa – Bremen art and culture festival.

10h00
Rasch am Markt
audioinstallation Haifa – Bremen

Within the concept of Talpiot market (Haifa) meets Wochenmarkt Domshof (Bremen) we introduce the sound installation Rasch* at the market. In German, “Rasch” means to hurry, or do something in a rush. The phonetic sound “Rasch” in Hebrew means noise. The project’s title fuses both languages by combining the „speedy“ and „fleeting“ action with a momentary noise.

Visitors to Wochenmarkt Domshof will be met with occasional pre-recorded sounds from Talpiot market. The sound installation will be heard over loud-speakers, blending with the local Bremen market, offering the visitors of Wochenmarkt Domshof occasional audio-glimpses into Talpiot Haifa. (The work is played Thu. through Sat.)
